ABOUT BROOKSPUN
Brookspun Games creates games that engage and entertain players – immersing you in an experience that tells stories with doses of subtle humor throughout. Brookspun has a dual meaning. The first is Brooks Spun – created by Brooks. The second is Brooks Pun – a play on words by Brooks. Designer Jason Brooks is notorious for his puns and wit which leaves listeners pausing for a beat or two before recognizing a play on words or joke and either laughing (or groaning).

Flow with the Fun.
Have you ever finished a game, looked at the time, and said “Oh My!!! We’ve been playing for hours!!!”? Congratulations! You have experienced flow. Jason’s favorite experiences are those that are immersive – setting the concept of time aside as one thinks of nothing else but the game or event that is happening at that moment.
Flow with the Fun also has a double meaning. Flow alludes to the brook in Brookspun Games’ logo and the progression of an experience – just like the constant flow of a brook. Flow also references the psychological term as in “find one’s flow” or “get in the zone”. It refers to the mental state of operation in which a person performing an activity is fully immersed in a feeling of energized focus, full involvement, and enjoyment in the process of the activity. In essence, flow is characterized by complete absorption in what one does and losing sense of space and time. This is the goal of Brookspun Games – giving its audience the opportunity to find FLOW each time they play one of our games.
Jason’s days have been spent helping companies figure out how to leverage their people, processes, and technology better – for over 20 years. Board game design is his creative outlet and as a long time consumer of games, he’s excited to now be on the creator side of the business.
